Please line up properly

What is line up? Everybody knows we line up single line in a row arrangement for a particular purpose.

Is an easy thing to do but do everyone knows how?

I inevitably raise this question, while I was line up at the post office waiting for the door to open, I notice the first few person have an important role to play in keeping the queue intact. If the row meant to be a single row lane then keep it that way as if it failed to align properly it will divert from the main line to create another line which will slow down the flow. Not everyone likes to be cut queue or have the patience to allow someone to let them pass.

It is most conspicuously happened while you’re at a highway traffic as those drivers do not have the patience to follow the queue and start to jump queue or overtaking by driving on the lane reserved for the emergency. These drivers are selfish as they only think of themselves, they won’t care those lane purpose is reserve for the ambulances or emergency unit to react faster in times of accidents. Every second reach to the site or hospital counts as a matter of life and death.

While waiting for the traffic light, it's so frustrating to see those cars from the right cut queue. We were forced to wait a little longer
INCONSIDERATE and selfish driver!

The trouble with some people is they don’t line up accordingly, when they leave a big gap in front, naturally we think this chain is broken and can cut in. Should we overtake them then they honk or yelling.
NO JUMP QUEUE- Please Line Up In A Single Line

Why can’t some people learn to be more civilized behavior like the Japanese when comes to line up properly. It amazing stuff when you learn how orderly or calm when the Japanese reacted by lining up waiting for their turns to purchase food or filing petrol fuel. Mind you this is not an ordinary daily situation but aftermaths of Tsunami or earthquake!

Mar 11, 2011 – After Japan suffers a massive, deadly earthquake and tsunami, one will expect lotting after whenever a tragedy happens. It's due to survival of the fittest and there's no shame in simply being human, in desperate effort to survive they exhibit uncivilized behavior of stealing, robbing and vandalizing but that's not happening in Japan.

It's almost unreal, disaster may have destroyed and washed away everything the Japanese had but not their conscious of their human dignity still intact.

Only in Japan. We may lose our wealth, our home, our health and our spouse but we can never lose our dignity. Amazing in its aftermath of earthquake, Japanese people orderly line up.

What is the secret behind this? Is it because they are thought while they’re young how to react in a situation of an emergency? Mindsets play a big part on their bringing up on their society.

To the Japanese one must not lost honor, embrace death as you embrace life. Losing one's life is secondary to "Shi mianzi 失面子" lose face.

In any case they are to be applauded.

It’s something different you see from other countries, complete Chaos even for non threatening manner.

Where is the queue line? Shameful act of queue jumpers.

I think sometimes there were "excuses" as the buses and trains have limited spaces but then you’re being uncivilised, you can see them coming in from all directions, pushing and shoving to make their way in and the extreme one can find their entrance through the windows.

We can learn a thing or two from penguin. How many of us could manage to line up in such an orderly fashion?

If you’re not assertive enough during rush hour you’ll be left behind but if that happens to getting on board a plane where all the seats have been pre assigned then that will be overacted.

Sometimes they need to be careful as when it says stand behind the yellow line at a train boarding station you should heed the warning. You could be in a dangerous situation if the push from behind force you may fall into the path of the coming train railway lane.

Dec 28, 2012 – A woman allegedly pushed a man to his death in front of a Queens, N.Y., subway train on Thursday night

Maybe it’s time to insist of having safety door at railway station to release open only upon the arrival of the train, don’t you think as the world is getting more and more insane people?
Maybe all station should install platform doors for passenger safety purpose

The officer save his life as the man tries to jump in front of a speeding train

Many times we were lead to believe the blame goes to the parents and the school system for failing to educate the people why they should line up. We should owe up to our own action as this is just a common sense act that everyone just don’t bother to use.

Failing to respect other people queue space can be a dangerous offence even for a religious fair.

A man was killed by two teenagers after he cut into a queue to get food for his child at a religious ceremony in Chiang Mai province.

Why don’t people line up for these things? Would he still be alive if he asked them politely saying its for the sake of his child?

I really don’t know but that person learns his lesson too late on not to queue jumping.
