Cameron Lavender Garden

 This is my second visit and this time my niece came too. Last time I was here, was more than 2 years ago.

The admission ticket has been raised from Rm8 to Rm10( adult) and from Rm5 to Rm7(children)  after few years.

Opened in 2013, Lavender Garden which was Cameron Highland's newest attraction is located just before Tringkap town and has since grown to become a prominent tourist attraction here.

It is  6km south of Brinchang town, one of the three major towns in Cameron. If you are coming in from the direction of Tapah interchange, you will have to pass through several town namely Ringlet, Tanah Rata,  Brinchang and Triangkap.

Alternatively, if coming in from the northern parts of the state through Simpang Pulai will be a lot faster where you will reach Kampung Raja first, then to Kuala Terla before approaching Lavender Garden which is along the main road.

Get mesmerized with the colourful sea of blooming flowers. Flowers lovers must drop by at this place. There are few types of lavender. The flowers all are very beautiful, needs no explanation.  Photographers will also fall in love in this place right away.

Within the compound, there is a small market for souvenirs, merchandise and souvenirs, while the garden has its own product store and a cafe on a viewing platform at top floor, serving lavender-infused meals including cakes and drinks. Strawberry picking is also available. Open daily from 9am till 6pm.

If you have seen lavender fields in the south of France you will not enjoy this place. It has a space, not even as big as a small French fields worth of lavender and no scent of lavender but that would do.

The English word lavender is generally thought to be derived from Old French lavandre, ultimately from the Latin lavare (to wash), referring to the use of infusions of the plants. As the name suggests, it is a floral theme park, with a small field of lavender on the slop that becomes the main attraction of tourists going to Cameron Highland.

The Classic 1957 Morris Minor Car. My grandpa used to own this model. As long as I can remember it sounds like a jet.

There is no way to tell exactly how long the tyres' air pressure can last if left unattended.The jack stand is an adjustable height mechanical structure or frame that is used to support your car once lifted. 

If you’re trying to get a car onto a display floor, try using ramps instead of a jack. If you insist on jacking up the car, make sure you have the proper equipment. Sometimes cutting corners will cause more of a problem than going to get the right equipment.


Lavender is used for restlessness, insomnia, nervousness, and depression. By inhalation, lavender is used as aromatherapy for insomnia, pain, and agitation related to dementia.

Visitors can also buy souvenirs at Cameron Lavender’s gift shops. 

Wide selection of lavender related products available, from toys to scented candles, to soaps, and even candies.The flower and the oil of lavender are much used in perfumery, and to a lesser extent in medicine.

Purple dolls and teddy bears are a bit cheesy.

I love to see the rotating windmill  blade spinning but why some of it's blades of the mini
 windmills are missing here?

A sorry sight. It was pitiful to see the mini windmill in such a bad condition. One of visitors  favourite attraction but management not aware of it.  So without further ado, let's get it  repaint and repair.

Enjoy the view from top of the garden wide balcony.

Lack of parking space makes little messy for the road traffic. During public holidays, the road in front of the attraction can become massively jammed.

Balcony coffee shop serves hot lavender tea and other beverages and tasty cakes.

There are lots of flies buzzing around your face and hands, not to mention are your food and
drinks. It drives us nut.It does not matter how clean a place looks.

My sister kept pestering the waitress why are they so may fliess ah? Is your boss not do anything to avoid this? Adoi! How to answer her questions?  They must have thought of meant to swat her like those pesky fly, so annoying.😂


When you have big piles of future compost (aka manure…) or  fertilizer in Laveder garden and many surronding vegetable farms, it tends to attract a lot of flies, which end up in this cafe. That's what I reckon.

Daisies are simple yet sophisticated and are some of the most beautiful flowers in the floral world.

Lavender here have no scent at all. Normally the air should be heavy with the soothing scent of the purple blooms, ... Huh, why?

Lavender flowers, as you probably may have guessed, do not just come in purple. The flower color ranges from pale lilac to deep royal purple Lavender flowers of Hidcote Lavender plants. There are many Lavender color choices for the flowers. You will also find that blooms come in pink, red, green and white. There is even a beautiful yellow blossomed one.

The lavender from China, Hokkaido and Taiwan have no scent at all or maybe these lovely night-blooming flowers and plants give off their sweet smells at night. Depending on the variety, lavender blooms are usually at their peak from late June through August. 

Lavender has been cultivated in Hokkaido for more than half a century. 

Flowers can be compact, round and pineapple shaped with bunny ear tufts on top or the flower buds can be spread out loosely over 3-4 inches of stem.

Certainly an amazing view of a variety flower beds. Could capture really nice photos with love ones. If I were to go to Cameron Highlands again, I guess I wouldn't mind coming again to this place one day.
